Compostable Diaper / Wipes Program
Dear Twin Cities Parents,
We know many people aren't interested in using cloth diapers but still also want an environmentally friendly way to diaper their child. Also we know many cloth diaper users occasionally use disposable diapers (at night, day care, etc.). We are excited to be able to offer you an opportunity to try a new product we are going to be offering - Compostable Diapers. These diapers are made of biodegradable material and when properly composted, breakdown in 4-6 months.
For the past 12 months Do Good Diapers has been running initial tests on performance and compostability. We have selected the best performing compostable diaper and are working with an awsome commercial composting partner. To date everything has performed well above expectations. The next step is to run a more robust trial and generate a larger quantity of diapers.

The Professional Composting Process:
1. After we pick up your diapers, each bag is sorted to ensure there are no non-compostable items.
2. The diapers are brought to our commercial partner where they are mixed with other compostable materials in order to achieve the proper mix ratio.
3. The mixed material is put into a temperature controlled composting station where internal temperatures can reach over 165 degrees. This breaksdown the material and destroys any pathogens.
4. After approx. 28 days the mix is moved to a lot where it is turned and rotated until the material has broken down to regular soil.
5. The soil is the screened to remove any non-compostable debris |

Convenient Home Delivery Process:
1. Your order will be delivered 1-2 weeks before your due date to ensure you have diapers before baby arrives
2. Once you start using the compostable diapers simply place the dirty diaper in your pail - no shaking, soaking or dunking. Let us do the dirty work!
3. Once a week on your scheduled delivery day simply place the bag of dirty diapers outside and our driver will pick it up and deliver any new diapers that have been ordered.
4. To order more diapers or wipes simply log on to your account before your delivery day and place an order.
